To program the Assigned Use Pivot Pro+ locks and prepare them for use, they must be set up to operate with a Programming Card and Management Card(s). A Programming Card and at least one Management Card will be needed to complete this process. --- 1. With the door open, present the Programming Card to the RFID reader. While the LED is flashing green, present each Management Card one at a time. Present the Programming Card. The LED will stop flashing, beep twice, then turn red. Close the door. After completing these steps, go to [How to assign User Credentials to an Assigned Use Pivot Pro+ lock](https://support.digilock.com/docs/how-to-assign-user-credentials-to-an-assigned-use-pivot-pro-lock) to complete the setup. **Shared Use:** The LED will blink red continuously, and the door will not remain locked. **Assigned Use:** The LED will blink green continuously, and the door will not remain locked. Placing your hand near the Pivot Pro+ RFID reader will make **the LED flash green**. Assigned Use is ideal for personal or dedicated access, where a specific individual or group is given an RFID credential to open a designated unit. The unit remains locked until the assigned user unlocks it using their credential.
