Locks are shipped with factory default settings (operate by pressing "C Button+Key Button" for keypad or by presenting your hand to the lock for RFID). Each lock must be set up to operate with a Programming Key and Manager Key(s). If the programming needs to be erased at any time, the locks can be set back to factory default with a Reset Key. This key is used as a management support tool, and should be kept in a secure place when not in use. In the event that the key is lost or stolen, it is designed to expire 3 weeks from the ship date. Once the key expires, it can no longer be used.
