How to add Manager Credentials to a keypad lock

These instructions are for keypad locks that have already been set up and no longer have the factory default settings. Manager Credentials can be programmed to keypad locks at any time.

Adding Manager Keys to a keypad lock

  1. Go to a lock requiring additional Manager Keys.

  2. "Press C Button+Key Button+5+5+Key Button". The LED will turn on.

  3. Insert the Programming Key. A two-tone beep will be heard.

  4. Insert each additional Manager one at a time. A two-tone beep will be heard for each Manager Key programmed.

  5. Insert the Programming Key. A two-tone beep will be heard and the LED will turn off.

  6. Repeat previous steps for each lock or follow instructions on How to Express Register Manager Credentials to multiple keypad locks to quickly program multiple locks to operate with the same Manager Credentials. If the keypad lock is Digilock Mobile Access enabled, follow the instructions below to add a Manager Digilock Mobile Access Credential to the lock(s).

    NOTE: One Manager Credential must be a Manager Key.

This section is specifically for keypad locks with Digilock Mobile Access enabled — meaning it includes a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chip. If you need to download the Digilock Mobile Access app, click here.

  1. Go to a lock requiring additional Manager Digilock Mobile Access Credentials.

  4. Tap the Press to Start button on each additional Manager Digilock Mobile Access Credential and present to the lock one at a time. A two-tone beep will be heard for each Manager Digilock Mobile Access Credential programmed.

  5. Insert the Programming Key. A two-tone beep will be heard and the LED will turn off.
