The Programming Key can quickly program multiple RFID locks to operate with the same Manager Credentials.

Go to a lock already programmed to operate with the Manager Credentials.
Insert and hold the Programming Key in place for 10 seconds. The LED will turn on and a two-tone beep will be heard after 5 seconds, followed by two sets of two-tone beeps after 10 seconds.
Remove and reinsert the Programming Key. Two sets of two-tone confirmation beeps will be heard and the LED will turn off.
Insert the Programming Key to program each lock to operate with the same Manager Credentials. Two sets of two-tone beeps will be heard and the LED will flash to indicate successful programming.
End Express Registration mode.* Go to any programmed lock and override it with the Programming Key.
Deadbolt: Present hand to lock, then insert the Programming Key. The lock will engage. Present hand to lock again, then insert the Programming Key to return the bolt to the original position.
Deadlatch and Cam: Present hand to lock, then insert the Programming Key to operate the lock.
Orbit: For Orbit Deadbolt and Deadlatch, present hand to lock. Insert the Programming Key, then immediately remove. A single beep will be heard. Reinsert the Programming Key within 1 to 5 seconds to operate the lock. To return an Orbit Deadbolt to the original position, follow the previous steps again.
If you’re setting up a new site installation, then after completing these steps, Shared Use locks are ready for use. For operating instructions, go to How to operate an RFID lock in Shared Use. *The Programming Key will continue to function in Express Registration mode until it is used to operate a lock.
