How to remove or replace User Credentials on a keypad lock

When credentials are lost or stolen, the keypad locks must be reprogrammed to remove User Credentials from operating a lock.

Removing User Credential from a keypad lock with the Manager Key

To remove User Credentials from the keypad locks, all existing User Credentials must be removed. Then, any remaining or replacement credentials must be reassigned using the Manager Key.

Make sure the keypad lock is set for Assigned Use functionality (a green LED will flash when "C Button" is pressed on a keypad lock).

  1. "Press C Button+Key Button+5+5+Key Button". The LED will turn on.

  2. Insert a valid Manager Key. A two-tone beep will be heard.

  3. Insert the Manager Key again. Three sets of two-tone beeps will be heard and the LED will turn off. All previously assigned User Credentials will be removed.

  4. Collect any remaining or replacement User Credentials (User Codes, User Keys, and/or User Digilock Mobile Access Credential) and follow the How to assign User Credentials to a keypad lock instructions to assign them to the keypad locks.


Replacing User Credentials on a keypad lock

Make sure that the keypad lock is set for Assigned Use functionality (a green LED will flash when "C Button" is pressed on a keypad lock).

  4. "Press C Button+[the same 4-7 digit User Code]+Key Button". Two sets of two-tone beeps will be heard and the LED will turn off.

Replace an assigned User Code with a new User Key
