How to replace the Programming Key and Manager Credentials on a keypad lock

The keypad locks must be reprogrammed to prevent lost/stolen keys from operating the lock.

How to replace the Programming Key

  1. Note the order or serial number (found on the lock’s rear unit or body). Click here for more information.

  1. Contact Digilock Support to purchase a Replacement Programming Key.


How to replace Manager Credentials

To remove or replace Manager Credentials from the keypad locks, all existing Manager Credentials must be removed. Then, any remaining or replacement credentials must be re-added using the Programming Key.

  1. Go to any lock operated by the lost/stolen Manager Credentials.

  2. "Press C Button+Key Button+5+5+Key Button". The LED will turn on.

  3. Insert the Programming Key. A two-tone beep will be heard.

  4. Insert the Programming Key again. Three sets of two-tone beeps will be heard and the LED will turn off. All previously programmed Manager Credentials will be removed.

  5. Collect any remaining or replacement Manager Credentials and follow the How to add Manager Credentials to a keypad lock instructions to program them to the keypad locks.
