Assigning {{glossary.User Credential - keypad}}s is the final step when setting up {{glossary.Assigned Use}} keypad locks and requires a {{glossary.Manager Key}}. Up to 20 User Credentials (User Codes, User Keys, and/or {{glossary.User Digilock Mobile Access Credential}}s) can be assigned to each lock. Assigning the credentials can be done one lock at a time, or the {{glossary.Express Registration}} feature can be used to copy and paste assigned credentials from one keypad lock to one or more other keypad locks.

How to assign User Credentials to a keypad lock

Make sure that the lock is set for Assigned Use functionality (a green LED will flash when "{{glossary.C Button}}" is pressed on a keypad lock).

Repeat these steps for each {{glossary.User Code}} that needs to be assigned to the lock.

"Press {{glossary.C Button}}+{{glossary.Key Button}}+5+5+Key Button". The LED will turn on.
Insert a valid Manager Key. A two-tone beep will be heard.
"Press C Button+[a new 4-7 digit code]+Key Button". A two-tone beep will be heard.
"Press C Button+[the same 4-7 digit code]+Key Button". Two sets of two-tone beeps will be heard and the LED will turn off.
